Prior to UNCW: Played two seasons at Wake Forest-Rolesville under the direction of head coach Jeremiah Mattingly … earned team MVP honors in 2011 … played with Capital Area Railhawks Academy program … TopDrawerSoccer.com listed Ryan as a four-star recruit and 25th in the South Atlantic Region …  participated in several showcases including the Academy Showcase in Sarasota, Fla., in 2012 and 2013 and the Academy Regional Showcase in Dallas, Texas in 2013.
