Eldridge Treasures Memories Of Competing In Patriot All-America Invitational

Junior Thomas Eldridge recently competed in the Patriot All-America Invitational at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield, Ariz. The 54-hole event featured the best golfers from all divisions of the NCAA and several special invitees. Each golfer in the event represented a soldier who was killed in combat.

Eldridge represented Christopher S. Cash, a captain in the Army who was killed in action in 2004 while clearing a passage for school children in Baqubah, Iraq. Cash was a native of Winterville, N.C., and a member of the Army National Guard based out of Jacksonville, N.C.
