Seahawks Stage Men's Tennis Fall Invitational

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Three teams ranked in last year's top-75 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) will join host UNCW when the 2015 Seahawk Fall Invitational runs Friday through Sunday at the UNCW Courts.

N.C. State, Tulane, USC Upstate and Richmond are set to play this weekend in Wilmington. Play begins Friday at 10 a.m. with doubles action.

"We're very excited about hosting some very good teams for our fall tournament," said Mait DuBois, UNCW's ninth-year head coach. "We're looking to make the most of our final fall tournament and I know playing in the team format brings out the best in our team.

"It will be a great opportunity for our local tennis community to get to watch some excellent tennis and get to know this year's team."

The Seahawks begin their appearance in the tournament by playing the Spiders in doubles early Friday at 10 a.m.

UNCW (#74), N.C. State (#39) and Tulane (#41) were each included in the ITA's final rankings of 2015 released on May 26, 2015.
