Margery Ellis joined UNCW's athletic training staff in August of 2004 as an assistant athletic trainer.
The Raleigh, N.C., native works with the men's soccer, women's tennis teams and women's golf.
Ellis earned her B.A. In Exercise and Sports Science from UNC Chapel Hill in 2004 and completed her M.Ed. in Health Education from Western Carolina in December, 2009. Ellis worked with the UNC football program in 2001 when the team won the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl.
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association and Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association.
In her spare time, Ellis enjoys keeping her dog, "Keeper," occupied, watching college sporting events, taking photographs of nature, going to the beach and playing Wii.
