WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCW closed out the fall semester of the swimming and diving schedule with several solid individual efforts at the Seahawk Invitational on Sunday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

Heading up the Seahawks on Sunday was freshman Catherine Gargula who won the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:08.54. For Gargula it was her second event win of the Invite after winning the 100 Backstroke on Saturday.

Senior Carly Tanner also added a second win on the weekend by winning the 200 Breaststroke on Sunday. Tanner won the 50 Free and set a pool record on Saturday.

Rounding out UNCW's winners on Sunday was sophomore Hannah Stephenson, who won the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.97 seconds.

UNCW returns to the pool at North Florida on Jan. 4, for a women's meet. The men will get back into action on Jan. 19 when the Seahawks visit Wingate.
