WILMINGTON, North Carolina - With the Major League Baseball playoffs in full swing, the UNCW Athletics Ticket Office is excited to announce the "Fall Classic Early Bird Special" for UNCW baseball season tickets for the 2013 season.

The Seahawks won their third Colonial Athletic Association championship last spring and earned their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003. This year's schedule boasts visits by a pair of College World Series participants - Kent State and Stony Brook - along with regional rivals UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, East Carolina and Coastal Carolina. The Seahawks will play 32 games at Brooks Field, including the Hughes Bros. Challenge featuring UNCW, Stony Brook, San Diego and Gardner-Webb.

This season ticket package includes tickets to five UNCW men's basketball games, including UNC Asheville, Coker, UNC Greensboro, James Madison and Georgia State.

The ticket package has two options for fans:

Option 1) Includes General Admission season tickets for the 2013 Baseball season, plus a five-game men's basketball mini-plan for $120.00.

Option 2) Includes Reserved Seating season tickets for the 2013 Baseball season, plus a five-game men's basketball mini-plan for $150.00 (requires Seahawk Club membership at $100 level).

The package goes on sale Oct. 9 and runs through Oct. 22.
