The Seahawk Club is proud to announce a new initiative aimed at increase memberships.  The AND ONE program is an incentive based referral program.  Individuals can refer a person to the Seahawk Club staff, who will follow up with that person.  If the person is inclined to join the original person who did the referring will receive a priority point as well as a gift based on how many people signed up from that referral at the end of 2012. 

"The AND ONE program is aimed at creating a strong foundation of support by increasing our membership" said Patrick Ransdell, Executive Director of the Seahawk Club.  "For us to achieve our goals we must significantly increase our membership.  This programs is designed for our staff to do the heavy lifting.  All we ask is help in identifying individuals." 

"If we can build an army of Seahawk supporters that is loud and proud, our goals of maximum scholarship support and athletic achievement will be met." 

More about the AND ONE program:

Membership in the Seahawk Club serves as an investment in UNCW Athletics and the lives of our student-athletes.  Just ONE Seahawk Club membership can offset the cost of books, meals or tuition.  As student-athletes, coaches, donors and staff, we are all part of the UNCW team and every ONE of us can make a difference.  That is why we are challenging each Seahawk Club member to support out "AND ONE" campaign by referring ONE additional Seahawk Club member.  Incentives exist based  on the number of new members and amount of new money raised.  All you have to do is refer the prospective member(s) and a Seahawk Club staff representative will follow up with that individual. 

IF the 770 current Seahawk Club members each sign up one new member,

THEN the new number of Seahawk Club members will double to 1540.
IF each of the new 770 Seahawk Club members contributed $100,
THEN Seahawk Club will increase its annual fund dollars by 15.4% or $77,000.
