WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW treks to Raleigh to night for a 6 p.m. start at NC State on the heels of a 10-7 win over Elon last night at Brooks Field.

The Seahawks and Wolfpack will be playing the final installment of their annual home-and-home series for the season. NC State roughed up UNCW, 11-2, earlier this season at Brooks Field.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and will also be carried locally in Wilmington on AM630/95.9 FM.

Last night UNCW broke out to an 8-0 lead after three innings, plating four runs in both the second and third innings. Drew Farber’s first homer of the season, a three-run shot, highlighted UNCW’s second inning outburst. Farber finished with four runs batted in after drawing a bases-loaded walk in the third.

The Seahawks return to conference play this weekend with a three-game series at Delaware. The series opens with a 3 p.m. start on Friday.
