Started both games in goal for UNCW and did not allow a goal in 166:28 of action … made four saves against Coastal Carolina to record first career shutout … Made one stop in 76:38 of action before being replaced in the 77th minute at Francis Marion.
UNCW extended its winning streak to four games last week as it closed out non-conference play with victories over Coastal Carolina (1-0) and Francis Marion (3-1) … Sophomore Katrina Guillou extended her point scoring streak to four games as the scored the game-winning goal in both games and added an assist in the Seahawks 3-1 victory against the Patriots … She is now tied for the team lead in scoring at 11 points with fellow sophomore Maddie McCormick, who kept her own four-game scoring streak alive with a pair of assists … Freshman Liisa Rahkola picked up her first career shutout against the Chanticleers as she finished the contest with four saves … Rahkola was named CAA Rookie-of-the-Week on Monday, becoming second UNCW player to be recognized by the CAA in as many weeks as sophomore Maddie McCormick was named Player-of-the-Week on Sept. 9 … The Seahawks open Colonial Athletic Association play this weekend with games at Hofstra (Sept. 27) and Northeastern (Sept. 29).

Like UNCW, Hofstra begins league play on a winning streak as the Pride enter the weekend on a five-game winning streak after picking up a 2-0 win at St. Joseph's last Saturday… Junior Sam Scolarici is off to a torrid start for the Pride this season with points in seveon of nine games played to rank second in the league in both goals (9) and points (20) … Senior keeper Emily Morphitis has started all nine games in goal for coach Simon Riddiough's squad and has responded with a 1.18 goals against average, 15 saves and one shutout … Hofstra holds a 10-3-1 edge in the all-time series … The Pride won both meetings last season, taking a 1-0 decision at the UNCW Soccer Stadium during the regular season before capturing the 2012 CAA Women’s Soccer Championship with a 2-1 double-overtime victory in Williamsburg, Va.

Northeastern starts conference play in search of its first victory of the season after Huskies wrapped up non-conference play last weekend with a tie against Maine (1-1) and an overtime loss at UMass (2-1) … Sophomore Morgan Hilby leads a Northeastern offense that has scored just six goals this season with four points on a goal and two assists … In goal, junior Paige Burnett has started all nine games for coach Tracey Leone’s lineup and has posted a 1.92 goals against average , 54 saves and a .740 save percentage … UNCW holds a 5-4 lead in the all-time series … The Seahawks have won each of the past two meetings, including last season’s contest, a 4-2 victory at Parsons Field.
