Sophomore Jessica Freeman and the Seahawks look to complete a sweep of their season series with Towson Thursday with a 7 p.m. contest against the Tigers at the Towson Center

WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The UNC Wilmington women's basketball team looks to complete its fourth series sweep of the season Thursday as it heads to Towson for a 7 p.m. contest against the Tigers at the Towson Center.

Live stats and pay-per-view video are available for the game and can be accessed by clicking on the respective links above.

The Seahawks (20-6; 12-3 CAA) reached the 20-win plateau for the third time in program history Sunday as they recorded a 48-33 victory over Northeastern at Trask Coliseum. Senior Brittany Blackwell recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 17 points and 15 rebounds and added nine steals to finish just shy of the first triple-double in program history. Senior Martha White added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Seahawks, who were held to a season-low in scoring and overcame a 32.7 percent shooting performance to record the victory.

With only three games remaining in the regular season, the Seahawks look to move one step closer to equaling the program's record for victories in a season as they enter play Thursday just two wins away from matching the wins total recorded by both the 1983-84 and 2002-03 squads. Both teams finished their respective seasons with 22 victories.

Towson (9-17; 3-12 CAA) enters Thursday's contest attempting to build off a 59-53 road victory at George Mason Sunday that halted a three-game losing streak. Junior Krystal Parnell averages a team-high 10.6 points and 4.5 assists per game to lead a Tigers attack that ranks last in the league in both scoring offense (57.2) and field goal percentage (.367). Junior Sheree Ledbetter (9.0 ppg) and senior Dovile Miliauskaite (8.3 ppg) compliment the Towson attack while Miliauskaite paces the squad on the glass with a team-high 7.3 rebounds per contest.

Thursday's contest marks the 18th meeting between UNCW and Towson. The Seahawks have won three straight against the Tigers to build a 10-7 edge in the series, including a 61-47 victory in their first meeting this season in Wilmington on Jan. 9.

UNCW returns home for its final home game of the regular season Sunday as it welcomes George Mason to Trask Coliseum for a 2 p.m. matinee. The Seahawks will honor senior student-athletes Brittany Blackwell, Treasure Johnson and Martha White in a ceremony prior to the start of the contest.
