WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Hunter Ridge drove in three runs on two hits and Michael Bass and Nick Monroe added two hits apiece as Blue topped Teal, 6-3, in game four of the annual Blue-Teal World Series on Tuesday at Brooks Field.

Junior Kelly Secrest (1-0) picked up the win, allowing three runs on seven hits over five innings. Sophomore Ryan Mayhew notched his third save of the series, this one a two-inning outing.

Freshman William Shepley (0-1) was tagged with the loss after allowing two runs in relief of starter Christian MacDonald.

Monroe and sophomore Corey Dick both belted home runs for Blue and Teal, respectively. Dick's was a two-run bombed to right in the third that gave Teal a 3-1 lead.

Blue plated two in the fifth and two more in the sixth to take a 5-3 lead. Freshman Terence Connelly scored a run with a fielder's choice and Ridge added a RBI single later in the fifth to tie it up.

Monroe's round tripper to left in the sixth made it 4-3 and Ridge added another RBI single later in the frame for a two-run lead.

The series resumes on Friday with a 6 p.m. start.
