Welcome to this week's installment of the summer baseball report as we take a look at what the Seahawks are doing in the various summer leagues throughout the nation.

Jordan Ramsey (Cotuit Kettleers/Cape Cod League) - Ramsey made his first start of the summer, following five relief appearances, on July 4th and turned in an impressive outing. The righthander went 6 2/3 innings, allowed three runs on seven hits and he finished with six strikeouts. In six games, Ramsey has compiled a 3.24 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 16 2/3 innings.

Hunter Ridge (Asheboro Copperheads/Coastal Plain League) - Ridge saw his average dip to .274, but he's taken over the team lead with three homers following round trippers against Fayetteville and Martinsville. He's maintained his eye at the plate with 14 walks compared to seven walks.

Luke Dunlap (Columbia Blowfish/Coastal Plain League) - Dunlap raised his average to .200 over his last three games. He's scored four runs in 36 plate appearances.

William Prince (Morehead City Marlins/Coastal Plain League) - Prince still ranks among the league leaders with five saves, but didn't register a save in either of his last two appearances. He owns a 2.00 ERA in nine innings while striking out nine.

Blaze Tart (Wilmington Sharks/Coastal Plain League) - Tart tossed six innings of two-hit, shutout baseball in a win over Wilson. He walked two and struck out two. On the summer, he stands at 1-1 in five starts with a 2.29 ERA and opponents are hitting just .214 against him.

Justin Livengood (Wilmington Sharks/Coastal Plain League) - Livengood saw his ERA jump to 2.79 over six appearances. An outing against Wilson where he surrendered two runs on two hits and three walks caused that spike in his ERA.
