WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The Seahawks host new conference rival College of Charleston in a three-game series beginning on Friday with a 6 p.m. start. UNCW looks to solidify a Colonial Athletic Association tournament berth while the Cougars enter the weekend at the top of the standings.

UNCW was off from midweek competition as the school enters its finals session of the spring semester. The Seahawks dropped a CAA series last weekend in Delaware as UD plated a run in the bottom of the eighth to win, 4-3.

CofC, meanwhile, swept Bethune-Cookman in a three-game series in Charleston. The Cougars won each game in walk-off fashion.
