"We knew we wanted to get the opportunity to have our girls on the court early this spring season to see not only what we had coming back from the fall, but see what improvements needed to be made for the remainder of the spring," said UNCW Head Coach Amy Bambenek. "The girls had a great opening weekend of spring against some talented regional teams along with a future CAA opponent. We were able to get a lot of looks at our team through a myriad of lineups. Overall I am quite pleased and very proud of our girls' effort this weekend."
