WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men’s tennis team shared some of the secrets to its success with the community recently by providing instructions to the New Hanover County Special Olympians and their coaches.

“We were very fortunate to spend a day with a great group of kids and young tennis players,” said Mait DuBois, UNCW’s veteran coach. “They were very enthusiastic and I was impressed with their attitude and excitement about playing tennis. It was a lot of fun for everyone and we were fortunate to be a part of it.”

The Seahawks worked with about 20 participants for 90 minutes, giving basic instruction and tips on how to play the game.
