WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The UNCW men's tennis team went 11-1 on the opening day of the UNCW Men's Tennis Fall Invitational Friday at the UNCW courts.

"I was very pleased with how we played today in singles," said sixth-year UNCW head coach Mait DuBois. "We went 8-0 against a very good Boston College team. They beat us here a couple years ago and this type of result will give us a lot of confidence."

In addition to the singles, the Seahawks swept three doubles plays against Davidson.
