JONESBORO, TENN. - Junior Josh Brock continued his strong play in the second round of the Bank of Tennessee at The Ridges tournament on Saturday and enters the final round on Sunday in a tie for second and a chance to win his first tournament of the fall.

Brock (69-70=139) carded a two-under round of 70 and enters Sunday just three strokes behind Oregon State's Diego Velasquez, who entered the tournament ranked 16th nationally according to Golfstat.com. After posting five birdies on Friday, Brock collected just two on Saturday, but did not bogey a single hole.

The Seahawks are in eight-place, two strokes behind host East Tennessee and three behind sixth-place Wake Forest. Tennessee and Oregon State are tied for the lead, both at nine-under, and hold a five-stroke lead over third-place Virginia.

Junior Ryan Sullivan (71-73=144) dropped back into a five-way tie for 20th overall despite finishing the second round just one-over-par at 73.

Senior Derek Wallace (78-73=151) jumped from 70th into a tie for 54th when he rebounded from his worst round of the fall with a one-over-par 73 in the second round.

Sophomore Taylor Zimmerman (75-77=152) and freshman Stefan Brewer (75-77=152) are tied for 56th overall and carding identical scores of 77 in the second round. Brewer entered the final three holes at two-over, but double-bogeyed the 16th hole and bogeyed 18 to finish five-over.

The Seahawks will kickoff the final round on Sunday with Brewer opening play with an 8:30 a.m. tee-off.
