WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Following a successful season that included a Colonial Athletic Association title, UNCW will send Cody Love, Cam Walton and Dylan Skinner to the NCAA Preliminary Regional in Jacksonville, Fla., on May 29-31.

Love, a junior, will represent the Seahawks in the men’s 400 Hurdles. He qualified with a time of 51.95 seconds, set at the Bill Carson Invitational, that ranks 31st in the East Region. It will be Cody’s first appearance in the NCAA regionals.

Cam Walton, a junior, will advance to the NCAA preliminaries in the Triple Jump for the second consecutive year. Walton’s mark of 49-9.25 feet helped him to qualify as well as win the CAA championship.

Rounding out the Seahawk trio is senior Dylan Skinner, who will compete in the 800 meters. Skinner, like Love, will make his NCAA preliminary round debut. Skinner won the Charlotte Invitational with a time of 1:49.71, which was good enough to qualify.

The University of North Florida will host the NCAA Preliminary for the east region.
