Seahawks Place 19 On All-CAA T&F Honors

WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Juniors Jeremy Johnson and David Lindsay both earned three All-Colonial Athletic Association track and field honors, based on their performances at the CAA Championships, to lead UNCW, which totaled 19 All-CAA honorees for the season.

The Seahawks placed 14 athletes on the All-CAA men's squad and five on the women's.

Johnson earned All-CAA in the 100 and 200 meters and also ran the second leg of the Seahawks 4x100 Relay, which placed second. He was second in the 100 meters and third in the 200.

Lindsay, who advanced to the NCAA First Round meet in Jacksonville, placed third in the 100 meters and a leg of the 4x100 relay and defended his conference crown in the 110m hurdles.

UNCW's other conference champion was Bob Vanderham, who also defended his title from 2011. Vanderham also ran on UNCW's second-place 4x400 Relay.
