WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The UNCW men's 4x800 relay was named Colonial Athletic Association Track Athletes of the Week after winning the college division race at the prestigious Penn Relays last weekend in Philadelphia. Pa.

The relay of Connor Brooks, Bob Vanderham, Ryan O'Connor and Wil Zahorodny clocked in with a winning time of 7:28.31, besting LaSalle (7:30.62) and Dartmouth (7:32.03) for the win.

The winning time ranks third on UNCW's record list, with the school standard of 7:26.15 also coming at the Penn Relays in 2011. Vanderham and Zahorodny were members of that record-setting relay.

The Seahawks head to Fairfax, Va., this weekend for the CAA Championships, hosted by George Mason University. The men look to return to the top after finishing second to George Mason last year. The women, meanwhile, finished sixth at the 2011 championships.
