WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Senior Wil Zahorodny and freshman Cameron Walton were named Colonial Athletic Association Track and Field Athletes-of-the-Week, respectively, after tremendous performances at the Beach Vs. Mountains Meet last weekend in Wilmington.

Zahorodny, who was a co-honoree, was a double winner for the Seahawks, winning both the 1,500 and 3,000 meters with times of 3:50.41 and 8:47.65, respectively. He also ran a leg of the second-place 4x400 Relay that clocked in with a time of 3:14.14.

Walton, meanwhile, posted three top-three finishes at the meet, including a win in the Long Jump with a distance of 24-1 3/4 feet. He also placed second in the Triple Jump (49-2 1/4) and ran a leg of the third-place 4x100 Relay (41.42 seconds).

The Seahawks head to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend for the prestigious Pepsi Florida Relays. The meet runs from April 6-7.
