CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – UNCW wrapped up its appearance at the Charlotte Invitational on Friday with an impressive showing, winning six events at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center.

Winning events for the Seahawks were Katy Haran (3000 SC), David Lindsay (110 Hurdles), Meena Reid (200m), Kevin Webb (Pole Vault), Johnique Fonville (Triple Jump) and Ryan Kelly (Shot Put).

Freshman Matthew Foster collected a pair of second-place finishes in the 110 and 400 Hurdles, while Hezekiah Ward added a third-place showing in the 400 Hurdles.

Meena Reid finished second in the 100 Meters, in addition to her win in the 200 Meters.

Adding second-place finishes for the Seahawks were Alyssa Omile in the 400 Meters and Jonell Taylor in the High Jump.

Jeremy Johnson fashioned a season-best time of 10.53 seconds in the 100 Meters to finish third. He was just .01 off tying his career-best set last spring.

The Seahawks next compete at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa., beginning on April 25.
