WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Senior Aerial Chatman’s second-place finish in the Triple Jump at the Shamrock Invitational and junior Cody Love’s fourth-place showing in the 400 Hurdles landed the duo Colonial Athletic Association Athlete-of-the-Week honors.

Chatman, who has competed at the NCAA Regionals in the Triple Jump three times, finished second with a mark of 49-8.50 feet on Saturday at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

That mark lifted Chatman into ninth in the NCAA East Regional rankings.

Love, who entered the weekend ranked second in the east in the 400 Hurdles, placed fourth on Saturday in the same event with a time of 53.52 seconds.

The Seahawks return to action this Saturday when they host the annual Beach Vs. Mountains meet at the Greene Track & Field Complex.
