WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW combined to win eight events between the men and women as the Seahawks swept both meets of the UNCW Seahawk Invitational on Saturday at the Greene Track & Field Complex

The Seahawk men totaled 201.5 points while the women accumulated 179 points in the win.

Hezekiah Ward and Vincent Ragland finished 1-2 in the 110 Hurdles with times of 14.88 and 14.93 seconds, respectively.

Ragland would join with Cam Walton, Ryan Edmonds and Brandon McLean to win the 4x100 (41.38) and the Seahawks finished off their relay sweep as Cody Love, Trip Foreman, Connor Brooks and Jamar Collins-Hall combined to win the 4x400.

Love added a win in the 400 Hurdles.

In the Triple Jump, Aerial Chatman claimed top honors with a distance of 48-7.25 feet.

Meena Reid opened the Saturday portion of the meet with a win in the 100 meters.

Gabriella Robinson earned the Seahawks top points in the 200 meters with a first-place finish.

In the High Jump, Margaret Edwards used a height of 5-8.75 for the win and Marlee Cadwell won the Vault with a mark of 11-1.75.

UNCW will next compete in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in the CCU Shamrock Invitational on Mar. 20-22.
