Player of the Week Nominee (Pos., Class, Hometown, High School):

Jamie Dell, MF, Junior, Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill

- Dell continued to be a thorn in the Blue Devils’ side when he scored his second game-winner in as many seasons against Duke as UNCW topped the home side, 2-1, in non-conference action. Dell’s strike came in the 79th minute and helped push the Seahawks back in front after Duke had drawn even in the 77th minute. It was his second goal of the season, first game-winner, and moved him into the team lead with seven points. Dell set up the Seahawks’ first goal of the evening.
