WILMINGTON, North Carolina - After a tough setback to VCU on Wednesday, the Seahawks hit the road for their final conference road game of the season when they visit Towson for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday.

UNCW is in a must win situation with four points on the season and just three games remaining on the schedule in the Colonial Athletic Association. Georgia State, VCU and Delaware are tied with 12 points for the final two tournament slots.

An own goal proved to be UNCW's undoing against VCU in what was otherwise a very evenly played match. VCU held a 10-8 advantage in shots while the Seahawks managed four shots on goal to the Rams' three.

Towson has also struggled this season, entering the weekend on the heels of a 1-0 loss in a driving rain storm at Northeastern on Wednesday. The Tigers stand at 0-7 in conference play and 1-10-1 overall. Defensively, Towson is last in the conference, allowing 2.10 goals per game while scoring 1.05. Olakunle Banjo leads TU with eight points on three goals and a pair of assists.

UNCW, meanwhile, has been strong defensively as of late, but hasn't been able to get the offense in rhythm with 14 goals in 14 matches. Five different Seahawks have managed at least two goals. In goal, senior Brandon Miller has made 51 saves and played all 1280 minutes.

UNCW leads the all-time series, 6-2-1, and stands at 4-1 at Towson. The two sides forged a 2-all deadlock last season in Wilmington.

The Seahawks host Delaware on Oct. 29, at 7 p.m.
