WILMINGTON, North
Carolina - UNCW head men's soccer coach Aidan Heaney has released a
five-game spring schedule which includes games against professional clubs the
Carolina Railhawks and the hometown Wilmington Hammerheads.
The spring opens on March 9 at 4 p.m., in Cary, N.C.,
against the Railhawks, who play in the newly-launched North American Soccer
League.
UNCW will follow up that game with a pair of matches on Mar.
26, against the College of Charleston at 1:45 p.m. and South Carolina at 6 p.m.
Both matches will be played at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
The Seahawks close out March's slate of games with a 7 p.m.
kickoff against the Hammerheads on Mar. 30, at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.
UNCW will then play twice in a four-day period beginning on
April 6 at UNC Pembroke before returning to the UNCW Soccer Stadium on Apr. 9
for the UNCW 7-a-side tournament. The Pembroke game is slated for 6 p.m., while
the tournament will be an all-day event.
