UNCW welcomes back a majority of its roster from 2012, including All-Colonial Athletic Association honorees Jamie Dell and Colin Bonner. The Seahawks return their top six leading scores and eight starters overall.

Dell, a junior midfielder, was a first-team selection by the coaches after totaling 12 points on four goals and a team-leading four assists. The coaches voted him to the league’s preseason all-conference squad.

Bonner, meanwhile, returns as the team’s leading scorer following a 14 point campaign on six goals and two assists. He became the first freshman since 2007 to lead the Seahawks in scoring.

Longwood also returns a lot of experience as 18 letterwinners are back for the Lancers. LU enters its second year as a member of the Big South Conference.

UNCW caps its exhibition season with a road match at NC State on Aug. 24. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
