ORANGE PARK, Florida - Junior Lori Beth Adams fired a career-low 69 on Sunday to earn her third top five finish of the season and lead UNCW in the final round of the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational at the Eagle Landing Golf Club.

Adams finished the 54-hole event with a one-over-par total of 217 (75-73-69) to claim fifth place, one shot back of Old Dominion's Samantha Morrell (72-74-70=216).

East Carolina's F. Gustafsson Spang completed her wire-to-wire run to the individual title with a one-over-par 73 to finish with a tournament scorecard of four-under 212 (69-70-73). Mississippi State's Ally McDonald (69-74-72) and Campbell's Lisbeth Brooks (76-72-67) finished tied for second at one-under 215 as Brooks set a tournament round with a final round scorecard of five-under 67. 

Juniors Megan Burnham (81-75-79) and Jeanne Metivier (82-76-77) both earned a share of 58th place with three-day totals of 235 while senior Danielle Lamy (81-80-80) and sophomore Mattie Tobey (76-84-81) ended up tied for 82nd at 241 to complete the Seahawks entry.

UNCW combined for a team result of 305 and ended the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational in 12th place with a three-day total of 922 (313-304-305).

Second-round leader Campbell cruised to the team title, posting a one-under-par total of 287 to record a 21-stroke victory over the field with tournament result of 870 (293-290-287). Mississippi State took second (300-298-293=891) while East Carolina took third (302-289-306=897) and host James Madison claimed fourth (297-296-310).

UNCW returns to action March 22-24 in the LSU Tiger Classic at The University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
