WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCW Chancellor Gary L. Miller and Director of Athletics Jimmy Bass have been selected by the Colonial Athletic Association's Council of Presidents to serve key leadership posts in the conference over the next two years.

        Dr. Miller begins a two-year term as Chair of the Council of Presidents, while Bass opens a two-year stint as conference president.

        The Council of Presidents met Tuesday in Washington, D.C., to discuss a variety of topics and gave final approval on a number of recommendations made by the league's athletic directors last week in Hilton Head, S.C.

        "Chancellor Miller and I are pleased to assume these leadership roles and we're looking forward to continuing the positive growth and progress of the CAA," said Bass.
