Release: 02/02/2013 WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Carly Tanner and Jenson Engen both won two events as UNCW stayed perfect all-time against Campbell in seven meetings with a 144-131 win on Saturday at the Seahawk Natatorium. Seahawk swimmers combined to win eight events on the afternoon. UNCW opened the meet with the 200 Medley Relay of sophomore Hannah Stephenson, Tanner, junior Rachel Sears and senior Nicole Miller winning the race with a time of 1:45.63. In the 100 Breaststroke, Engen would win the first of her two races when she clocked in with a winning time of 1:05.59. She later added a victory in the 200 with a time of 2:20.91. Tanner's two wins came in the 50 and 100 Freestyles. Adding wins for UNCW were Hannah Stephenson and Thalia Harrison in the 100 and 200 Backstrokes, respectively. UNCW caps the regular season next weekend, Feb. 9-10, at the Virginia Tech Invitational. |
