WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Junior Gabe Thran became the third Seahawk to earn Colonial Athletic Association men's swimmer-of-the-week honors after shining for UNCW in its meets against Florida State, Virginia Tech and Duke last weekend.

Thran swam the second fastest time in the league in the 200 Freestyle when he finished seventh with a time of 1:42.70.

He also ranks in the CAA top-10 in the 100 Free with a mark of 46.92.

Thran joins Michael Williams and Valtteri Halonen as Seahawks who have earned honors this season.

The Seahawks visit Delaware this weekend for a CAA Pod Meet with William & Mary, James Madison women and host Blue Hens. The two-day meet begins on Nov. 3.
