WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCW closed out the regular season with a convincing 124-78 win over visiting Campbell in women's swimming action on Saturday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

With the victory, the Seahawks raised their record to 10-6 while the Camels dipped to 8-12. For UNCW, it was its sixth win in six outings all time against their regional rival.

The Camels opened the meet winning the first three events, but the Seahawks rallied to win the next eight as seven different Seahawks won.

Sophomore Rachel Sears began the rally with a win in the 50 Freestyle and two events later, UNCW grabbed a lead it wouldn't surrender after junior Kathryn Yarbrough won the 100 Backstroke.

Adding wins for the Seahawks were senior Anna Munger (200 IM), freshman Hannah Stephenson (100 Butterfly), senior Libby Mayock (100 Free), junior Rachel Wilson (500 Free) and junior Carly Tanner (100 Breaststroke).

The Seahawk 200 Free relay of senior Mattie Riley, Mayock, senior Hilary Fritz and Munger closed out the meet with a victory.

At the Virginia Tech Invitational, Nathan Walters second-place finish in the 500 Free topped the Seahawks effort on the day. Ashley Bassman placed third in the women's 500 Free.
