TOWSON, Maryland - UNCW won seven events on the men's side, including three relays, as the Seahawks hold leads over Delaware and host Towson in a Colonial Athletic Association pod meet on Saturday. The Lady Seahawks lead Delaware, but trail four-time defending champion Towson. Leading the men was sophomore Joe Gallene with two relay wins and a win in the 50 Freestyle (20.55). Gallene swam the leadoff leg of the winning 200 Freestyle Relay and the anchor leg of the 200 Medley Relay. Also adding three wins were senior Ray McGorry, junior Stephen Conrad and reigning CAA Swimmer-of-the-Week freshman Valterri Halonen. All three swam on the 200 and 400 Medley Relays. McGorry (100 Breast), Conrad (100 Fly) and Halonen (100 Back) added wins in sprints. Mattie Riley was the only winner for the Seahawk women, taking the 50 Free (23.79).
