The Seahawks swept visiting Emory last weekend as the men improved to 2-1 and the women evened their record at 2-2 … UNCW combined to win 21 events, including all four relays … Sophomore Jenson Engen won both the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes … Senior Rachel Sears won the 50 Free and swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays … At the national level, UNCW has 16 swimmers ranked in the top 100 of events … Engen leads four in the top 50, ranking 25th in the 100 Breast (1:03.95) and 40th in the 200 Breast (2:19.02) … Her times also lead the CAA early in the season … Freshman Ross Wyand is 34th in the NCAA in the 1650 Free, (16:26.07) … Sophomore Andrew Cremer is 49th in the men’s 1650 (16:53.16) and junior Hannah Stephenson is 43rd in the women’s 100 Backstroke (56.33).
