CONWAY, South Carolina - UNCW's Lily Patterson set a school-record in the Steeplechase and the Seahawks combined for seven other event wins on Friday at the Coastal Carolina Classic in Conway, S.C.

Patterson, who held the school standard earlier this season, reclaimed the mark with a time of 11:08.82.

UNCW swept the Pole Vault in addition to the Long Jump and Steeplechase races.

In the Pole Vault, Annie Powell vaulted 11-11 3/4, while Michael Reading went 14-1 1/4. While in the Long Jump, Jessica Van Hulst and Logan Elliston were event winners.

Joey Jazwinski gave UNCW a sweep of the Steeplechase by winning the men's race.

Rounding out UNCW's winners were Remy Tamer and Brent Campbell in the 800 meters and Long Jump, respectively.

The Seahawks return to action on April 23 at the Charlotte Invitational.
