Hurricane Sandy Not Dandy For Tradition

Release: 10/27/2012 WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Hurricane Sandy made its approach to coastal North Carolina early Saturday and delayed the second day of competition in the 11th Landfall Tradition following the completion of 9-11 holes. The 17 teams and five individuals teed off at 9 a.m. and made their way through driving rain and breezy conditions before rules officials halted play at 12:09 p.m. Completion of the second round is tentatively scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sunday. |
