(This is the eighth in a series of installments highlighting the successful 2011-12 sports season at UNCW)

      Junior forward Keith Rendleman enjoyed his coming out party in 2011-12 as the UNCW men's basketball team finished eighth in the CAA standings. Rendleman, from Iron Station, N.C., became the 21^st player in Seahawk history to eclipse 1,000 points in the scoring column and racked up numerous honors, including First-Team All-CAA accolades. The Seahawks played 11 opponents that reached the post-season in Buzz Peterson's second season on the bench.
