| Seahawks Capture Five Titles In RBC Tennis | ||||

WILMINGTON, N.C. - UNC Wilmington's men and women nailed down five championships on the final day of the UNCW-RBC Wealth Management Tennis Invitational Sunday at the sun-splashed Country Club of Landfall's Drysdale Tennis Center.
Sophomore Christina Lee of UNCW routed Furman's Susan Bitetti, 6-0, 6-1, to capture the championship of the Women's A2 Singles Flight and junior Illia Ziamtsou downed Wake Forest's Amogh Prabhakar, 7-5, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (9), in a four-hour marathon on the stadium court for the Men's B Singles crown.
In Men's C Singles, freshman Kosta Blank outlasted Georgia State's Lucas Thomas, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 and in Men's D Singles, another Seahawk rookie, Max Ando Hirsch, cruised past Georgia State's Trenton Spinks, 6-4, 6-2.
The Men's A Doubles final was an all-UNCW affair. Kinshuk Sharma and Kosta Blank knocked off teammates Michael Pereira and Chris Cooprider, 8-5, for the championship.
In Sunday's Women's A1 Singles finale, 64th-ranked Monica Arguello of Furman topped UNCW's Kayla Schwenk, 6-2, 6-2. Arguello teamed with Lauren Kline to defeat UNCW's Casey Dashiell and Lindsay Leblang, 8-4, in the Women's Doubles title match.
