In his latest story posted on ESPN.com, Bilas ranked Blizzard 22nd on his chart of college basketball’s all-time Top 25 three-point shooters. Blizzard, who is now playing professionally in
“Every time Blizzard shot the ball, it looked like a swish,” Bilas wrote. “He could hit off screens, in transition, and spotting up, and if you lost him for a split second, you could count it.”
Blizzard’s photo was featured with the story on the web site and Bilas said narrowing down the list was a difficult task.
“The list of great shooters since 1986 in a long one,” Bilas wrote, “but it is unbalanced because it leaves out the great shooters who came before the line was introduced. There is a symmetry in that.”
Blizzard drained 371-of-876 treys during his career with the Seahawks for a .424 clip. He remains the Colonial Athletic Association’s career leader in trifectas and still holds or shares 23 school records at UNCW.
