WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina – Sophomore Santtu Leskinen reached the finals of B2 Singles and the doubles team of Christiaan Van der Burgh and Zach Hublitz advanced to the championship of the B Doubles flight as the UNCW men’s tennis heads into the final day of the Wake Forest Fall Invitational.

In action played Saturday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex, Leskinen continued his climb in the B2 Singles bracket with a three-set victory over Penn State’s Roman Trkulja, 7-5, 4-6, 6-1, to reach Sunday’s finale. The Helskini, Finland, netter will face Duke’s Cal Hammond for the title.

Van der Burgh and Hublitz, meanwhile, clipped Wake Forest’s Maksim Kan and Aws Laaribi, 8-4, in the semifinals of B Doubles and will square off against PSU’s Trkulja and Matt Barry in tomorrow’s final.
