HIGHLAND PARK, Illinois – The UNCW women’s golf team combined for a team total 619 on Monday and sits in 14th place after 36 holes of the Windy City Collegiate Championship at the Northmoor Country Club.

The Seahawks will enter Tuesday’s final round 13 shots off the pace of 13th-place Minnesota (302-304) and 20 strokes back of 12th place TCU (299-300).

Senior Lori Beth Adams paced the Seahawks with an eight-over-par total of 150 (73-77) on Monday to secure a share of 47th place. Senior Laverry Kumar (79-77=156) is part of a tie for 65th while fellow seniors Megan Burnham (78-79=157) and Jeanne Metivier (78-79=157) are one shot off Kumar’s pace in a tie for 68th. Junior Mallory Warrick (81-78=159) completed UNCW’s entry.

Defending national champion Southern California holds the team lead with a 36-hole total of six-under-par 562 (284-278), one shot ahead of Oklahoma State (281-282=563). Arizona (285-279=564) is third while Stanford (287-280=567) holds fourth.

Southern California’s Kyung Kim holds a one-shot lead over the field after posting a five-under-par total of 137 (69-68) on Monday. Oklahoma State occupies the next two spots on the leaderboard as Julie Yang (69-69=138) is in second while teammate Lauren Falley (70-69=139) occupies third.

Final round action in the Windy City Collegiate Championship begins Tuesday with a shotgun start slated for 8:30 a.m. ET.
