WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Keith Rendleman, who already owns a basketball rack full of honors, is still collecting basketball accolades after closing out his collegiate career and graduating from UNCW last month.
The 6-8, 220-pound Rendleman has been named to the First-Team on the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association All-State unit. The versatile performer has been working out with several National Basketball Association teams over the past few weeks in preparation for the upcoming NBA draft on Thursday, June 27.
Rendleman, from Iron Station, N.C., averaged a double-double of 17.0 points and 10.5 rebounds en route to First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors for the second year in a row in 2012-13. He finished his four-year stay in Wilmington with 1,516 points and 1,055 rebounds, ranking fourth all-time in scoring and first in rebounding for the Seahawks.
