MYRTLE BEACH, South CarolinaCody Love and Hezekiah Ward finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 400 Hurdles as UNCW recorded six top-5 finishes on Saturday at the Shamrock Invitational at Doug Shaw Stadium.

Love, who entered the weekend as the top 400 Hurdler in the East, finished fourth with a time of 53.52 seconds while Ward checked in at 53.83.

In the women’s 100 meters, Meena Reid finished fifth in the finals with a time of 11.94.

In the men’s Vault, Ryan Potter finished fifth in the B competition with a height of 13-7.25 feet and Andy Jung tied for fourth in the A event, using a mark of 15-1.

In the Triple Jump, Trey Jones was fifth with a jump of 42-6.75.

The Seahawks next host the Beaches vs. Mountains meet on Mar. 29. Joining UNCW are East Carolina, Appalachian State and Western Carolina.
