- Anchored the UNCW defense making 13 saves over the course of the weekend, including eight in posting a shutout on Suday. Posted 0.46 goals against average for the weekend while facing 27 shots, 14 being on frame.

Nathaniel Goodwin’s goal against Cincinnati was the fifth of his career and his first game-winner … The Seahawks went 2-0 against a pair of first-time opponents and will host another pair of first time opponents next weekend in Mercer and Presbyterian … UNCW started 2-0 for the first time since 2009 (3-1 vs Campbell and 2-0 at Fla. Atlantic) … Last 3-0 start was 2004, opened season with five straight wins … Bonner raised his career total of goals to eight … Ohio State played the final 17 minutes down a man following a red card in the 89th minute … Kellen Foster joined Melvin as freshmen making the collegiate debuts in the starting 11 against Ohio State … UNCW improved to 3-1-1 in its last five season openers.
