WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Highlighted by home meets against Tennessee, Duke and Virginia Tech, the 2013-14 UNCW swimming and diving schedule is another challenging one.

The Seahawks and veteran Head Coach Dave Allen open the season by hosting the Volunteers for the third straight year on Sept. 27, with both men and women’s programs competing against nationally-ranked UT. Duke and Virginia Tech visit the Seahawk Natatorium on Oct. 26 and Jan. 25, respectively. UNCW’s home schedule includes meets against Emory, Wingate and Campbell’s women’s program.

UNCW visits Richmond on Oct. 12, where it will face off against former Colonial Athletic Association rival Old Dominion and host Spiders.

In conference action, UNCW competes in a conference pod meet hosted by James Madison, along with William & Mary and Delaware on Nov. 1-2.

The Seahawks also resume a series with the College of Charleston, who will me making its debut in the CAA. UNCW swims against the Cougars on Jan. 11 in Charleston.

UNCW will swim in a pair of invitational meets by visiting George Mason for the Patriot Invitational (Nov. 21-23) and Virginia Tech on Jan. 25 for the Virginia Tech Invitational. The Seahawks won the Patriot Invitational last year.

The CAA will stage its conference meet from Feb. 26-March 2 at the University of Maryland Campus Recreation Center in College Park, Md.
