HEMPSTEAD, New York - The Seahawks close out the regular season this weekend at Hofstra with a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Saturday. UNCW can clinch the top seed in next week's Colonial Athletic Associaiton championship tournament with a win.
Mat Batts (9-2) will make the start in game one and Jordan Ramsey (6-5) will take the mound in game two.
The Seahawks are coming off a 15-3 loss earlier in the week at Coastal Carolina while the Pride have been off since dropping a 6-3 decision at Georgia State on May 12. The Pride needs a sweep of the series and a James Madison series loss to Delaware to qualify for the CAA tournament.
UNCW can also clinch its eighth regular season conference championship with a win this weekend.
