WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The Seahawks head to Myrtle Beach this evening for their final non-conference game of the season when they take on Coastal Carolina at 6 p.m. at Pelicans Stadium.
UNCW freshman Nick Monroe will make his first start of the season following 10 relief appearances. The Chanticleers will counter with righthander Tyler Herb.
The Seahawks topped Coastal in the first game of the annual home-and-home series with 13-7 win at Brooks Field.
UNCW closes out the conference slate this weekend with a three-game series at Hofstra beginning with a doubleheader on Friday at noon. The Seahawks can clinch their second consecutive regular season crown with a win in the series.
