WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The Seahawks return to Colonial Athletic Association this weekend beginning Friday with the first of a three-game series against George Mason. First pitch for Friday is slated for 3 p.m. Games on Saturday and Sunday are schedule for 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

The Seahawks (27-11, 9-2 CAA) enter the weekend in first-place by winning percentage over William & Mary (25-13, 9-3 CAA). George Mason, meanwhile, sits at 13-25 overall and 5-13 in the CAA following an 11-10 setback at UMBC Wednesday.

UNCW completed a season sweep of longtime rival East Carolina on Tuesday with a 7-2 win over the Pirates in Greenville. Ryan LaGrange collected a career-high tying four hits and drove in three runs to key the offense while Ricky Holden allowed just two hits in 4.2 innings of relief for the win.

Michael Bass raised his batting average to a team-high .403 with two more hits while Luke Dunlap tied his career-long eight-game hitting streak with a ninth inning double. Dunlap is third on the team with a .355 batting average while LaGrange is second at .364. The Seahawks enter the weekend with a .288 team batting average.

Holden improved to 4-1 after being credited with the win against ECU. Through 15 appearances, he has fashioned a 1.63 ERA and has limited opponents to a .227 batting average. The Seahawks own a 3.41 ERA as a staff with Jordan Ramsey (1.66) and Mat Batts (2.38) leading the way.
