WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Senior Chris Cooprider and junior Kelly Cameron have been recognized by the Colonial Athletic Association for their sterling play on the tennis courts last week.

Cooprider was selected as the Men’s Singles Player-of-the-Week after sparking the Seahawks to shutout wins over No. 50 Yale and Illinois State. The Denver, Colo, product rallied past Yale’s John Huang, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, at the No. 1 position in a 7-0 victory and then zipped past ISU’s Rolando Torrellas, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 2 singles in another 7-0 decision.
